Resignation of Heather, Chief Journalist — and New Chief Nicolas

About 2 weeks ago, Heather Hills was asked to resign from her position of Chief Journalist of Sammy School Newspaper for allegedly *unknown* reasons. However, I have interviewed a bunch of people and I think I have found out what was the reason Heather was asked to resign from her position.
Heather Hills has been the Chief Journalist for about 2 years now — ever since Sammy School Newspaper started. If this was the case, why did they ask her to very publicly resign for “unknown reasons” and hire me, a soccer player, to take over?
Heather Hills has been known for her talented writing skills — hence she got a place in the school newspaper. At first, she wrote in the column with her heart, but overtime, she started treating the newspaper column as her little gossip column, talking about random things and writing informally.
(Speaking of gossip columns, we are about to introduce that into next month’s issue!)
Heather also has ongoing problems at home. Her parents have recently divorced and her sister, Ciao Hills, has been suspended. It might be a surprise that Ciao was suspended as she was “Student of the Year” in 2022. A source says, “Ciao stole stuff. Like, real big stuff from the Science Lab.” Another source states, “She was gonna set the school on fire. I’m surprised [that] they haven’t expelled her [yet].” Clearly, this is all gossip and this “allegedly” happened. Ciao’s delinquency and their parents’ divorce obviously affected Heather as her teachers claim that she has been failing her subjects.
Her parents refuse to give an explanation for their divorce, but a close source says that they have ”fallen out of love” and that none of the parents want to take custody of the kids. That must be the reason Ciao and Heather have gone crazy,
In conclusion, Heather was probably asked to resign so that she could focus on her studies.

Design Dress to close down in Sammy School

After Design Dress opened an outlet in Sammy School last year, students have swarmed the place every day, making it a success and pushing the Design Dress empire to a billion dollars, making Design Dress founder Mr Dee Dee a billionaire. However, amidst alleged claims that a frequent Design Dress shopper at Sammy School wanting to set the school on fire, Design Dress has closed for a week and made their official statement that they would be closing down in Sammy School, for the employees safety.
Many students have not taken this well, some blaming Mr Dee Dee and the Design Dress Empire for their “selfishness“ of putting their own priorities and safety over an alleged situation. A student who wishes to be unnamed states, “I mean, the whole [situation] is not real right? So why would they randomly believe the gossip? I mean, it might be real, but still.”
While some blame Mr Dee Dee, some has also turned their blame to the alleged student who wanted to set fire to the school, who’s name has been blurred out for legal reasons. Here is what some students had to say about the student.
“[CENSORED] is the most annoying person ever. Like, why the [CENSORED] would anyone want to set fire to school. I hate school, but I would never, ever wake up and decide to kill everyone and everything in the school.”
”[CENSORED] is a [CENSORED] psychopath.”
”I feel like [CENSORED] shouldn’t have scared Mr Dee Dee away. Like I get Mr Dee Dee and the Design Dress management‘s point of view, but I really don‘t understand [CENSORED] sympathisers.“
It is currently rumoured that Design Dress is relocating to Chicken School.

Lowerton x Sammy School — the breakdown of the stress of students

According to a recent survey done by students, 93% of students in both Lowerton and Sammy School has been under a lot of stress. With this said, Mrs Evangeline Tires and Ms Chanel of Sammy School and Lowerton respectively have issued out ways to cope with stress.
1) Take a break every 30-45 minutes or so. After studying for 30 - 45 minutes, you should take a short 5 - 10 minute break by de-stressing. You can have a glass of milk, or a light snack.
2) Buy a stress ball. When feeling stressed, you can squeeze it to calm your nerves.
3) Sleep early. This way you will not feel so tired in the morning.

BREAKING NEWS: MRS TIRES IN THE HOSPITAL

Mrs Tires in the hospital. That is surprising to most, as Mrs Tires was always healthy and strict. However, after a video call with Mrs Tires, I noticed she was really frail, and her voice lost its firmness. So, what really happened to Mrs Tires.
Mrs Tires told me that she had somewhat of a stroke. A mini-stroke, she said. Note that I cannot reveal too much of her situation for legal reasons. Mrs Tires also mentioned her son, Choco, has not been that good in his studies and because of a student wanting to set fire to the school, Mrs Tires’ health has depleted.
Mrs Tires is still making a recovery at the hospital.
However, there is also speculation that Mrs Tires was food poisoned by someone too. Who could it be? Who would want to sabotage our loving principal?
Mrs Tires has yet to make a statement on the speculation.

NEW MARRIAGE: Mr Tony and Ms Heidi are tying the knot soon

You read that right. Mr Tony (form teacher of 2023 P5 class) and Ms Heidi (form teacher of 2023 Kindergarten class) have been dating since 2018 and got engaged in May of 2023. They have decided that they want to invite the students of their form classes to join in the celebration at Sammy Hotel at Selena Lake. So, to the lucky P5s and Kindergarteners of 2023, you just got invited to Mr Tony and Ms Heidi’s wedding. You will be receiving an invite by the end of September!
Upon being asked why they would want to invite their students to their wedding, Ms Heidi says, “When I told my students that I was getting married, I was surprised to hear that most of them have not been to a wedding before. So, I asked Tony if we could invite them and he said yes.” Tony adds on, “I also have been with my current batch of students for about 5 years now, and I have seen them grow up a lot. I want them to also see me grow up.”
Mr Tony and Ms Heidi look so loving, and I am sure they would be a good couple together. May they live a loving life together!

New column and forgoing the colour page

When asked about what to change for the newspaper, most students said to replace the colour page with something more interesting, as no one really cared or coloured in the illustration. The newspaper is also going online now, so no one can really colour in the pages.
Some people gave suggestions like a recipe column, an advise column, a gossip column, a fashion column, a study column, etc. That said, the Sammy School Newspaper is going to have a different format.

When I left SS in 2021, I knew that SS will stay at #2 or even surpass Middleton (not yet, but maybe). I feel so proud of what Sammy School has become and I am so proud of the Sammy School Newspaper! Keeping going on! You guys are great!
